Underground Sunshine: A CATWOLF Production

At M&D Playhouse in North Conway Village

6-6:45pm A Candlelight vigil, organized by Starting Point to commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month, in remembrance of those whose lives were shattered by domestic violence and for those who survived and lit the way for others to do the same, will be held at Schouler Park. After gathering at the flagpole in Schouler Park participants with take a silent candlelit walk to the M&D Playhouse in North Conway where they will set intentions for repair and creating greater awareness through community unity. 

7pm Doors open

7:30pm Show start A celebration of women’s storytelling through performance and art with Comedian Toni Nagy, Poet Makenna Allen, Performance Painter AmandaLa, and Musicians CATWOLF with Go-Go Dancers Olivia & Jess. An event to raise money for Starting Point, where donations during the event for the Live Painting and a portion of the proceeds, will benefit the work of Starting Point in supporting victims, survivors, and their children.

The artists:

Live painting - AmandaLa is traveling artist from Maine, her work is a reflection of the interwoven and connective aspects of life inviting people to tap into their imagination. Her performance painting from the show will be taken home by someone who has donated during the event!

Comedy - Toni Nagy is a stand-up comedian and content creator most known for her viral videos where she interpretive dances her philosophies while pontificating, gyrating, and questioning culture. Her comedy is quasi–radical, pseudo-philosophical, somewhat-existential, and mostly funny. She's directed and acted in numerous films and written multiple award-winning screenplays and is the founder of Cavelight Productions. The Broadway Comedy NYC club twice voted her “Best New Comedian.”

Poetry - Makenna Allen is a North Country poet from Littleton, NH. When not writing poetry, you can find her teaching, drawing, rehearsing for her next musical, or playing videogames with her cat, Aphrodite. Her poetic inspirations are the works of Michael Faudet and Emily Dickinson. 

Go-Go Dancing - Olivia and Jess are a fiery duo that will get you in the groove with every move.

CATWOLF are musicians and producers of the show. These women are making waves with their performance reminiscent of ‘60s/’70s rock icons. Full of authenticity, charging tempo-changes and beaming vocal harmonies, they are sparking a new groove with old soul. Boosting spirits at every show.
